Head of Education for CA in EMEA - 'IT Training' has gone through a lot of change. Drove major change within our business in creating flexible training offerings for customers (self study, classroom, labs, web offerings etc.).
Previously, Advisor / Vice President CA Services - Acting as lead troubleshooter for high profile programs & customers across Europe. Notable as program director for Cloud-Security project for major customer. Helped develop services business in emerging markets in Central / East, South Europe; Middle East & Africa. Originally joined CA running their Education division as VP for EMEA - turned this business around in making it profitable and a key offering to clients.
Previously ran Education division in VERITAS EMEA as Senior Director (since 2000). Also ran AsiaPac for a while in addition to EMEA. Set up UK Professional Services business from scratch.
Prior senior IT position in Goverment running large IT programs, contracts and procurement. Managed large IT projects (including tacking fraud) in DSS (now DWP) as well as change programs impacting 60,000+ staff.
Before that Oracle (86-91) - started as consultant and finally consulting manager. Started IT in Govt and one of first UK Oracle customers (1982) for Oracle V2.
Also former director / co-owner of Parr Street Recording Studios in Liverpool. In my spare time, I am a singer and songwriter, regularly performing around my home area at concerts, functions and charity events.
